When I heard of Milt's passing it conjured up so many memories of my contacts with him for at least 35 years - all of them positive.
I think we had a unique relationship since we were both from New York, had some background in Industrial arts, were associated with NYU,
colleagues in the rehab.  field, trained together for the Cornell Simulation programs and ultimately did team teaching for Ron House and Bill Wasmuth.
Some years ago he came to my agency in Syracuse to evaluate and recommend changes that would improve services to our disabled population and
it had significant impact- just as his experience and wisdom affected many lives around the country.

While he denied being a wine expert, he was always gracious in telling me that my homemade Finger Lakes wine was terrific,
and  that he would place Our Very Own labeled bottle in a prominent place on his mantle ( obviously not in Phoenix).

I could tell endless stories about Milt that are etched in my memory but in the end I will always feel his warm smile and generosity.

All the best,
Harvey Pearl
